Using cardboard to separate the decorative sand and aquasoil.

To prepare the substrate, sprinkle Penac W, Penac P, Bacter 100, Tourmaline BC & Super Clear at the base of the tank.

Using powersand special & Xingu sand

Using a “flattener” to spread out the powersand special.

Pour some aquasoil powder on the edge of the cardboard. Add the Xingu sand on the other side of the cardboard. Pour in the Aquasoil till desired level and Flatten/spread the aquasoil and remove the cardboard.
